Stops Arterial and Venous Bleeding in Seconds

  • Sterile dressing temporarily controls bleeding from traumatic wounds
  • Ideal for first line treatment of life-threatening hemorrhaging wounds
  • Does not require mixing, measuring or heat - just open and apply
  • Safe to use - does not create a chemical reaction with blood or fluids. QuikClot Combat Gauze works by adsorption (bandage rapidly attracts water molecules, leaving blood clotting molecules in the wound)
  • Very low allergic reaction risk - active ingredient, kaolin, is an inert mineral
  • Does not adhere to wound - upon removal of QuikClot from the wound, the clot remains in the wound
  • Does not contaminate the wound - kaolin is strongly bound to the bandage and does not migrate into the body
  • Easy to pack and can safely stay in the wound until proper medical treatment
  • Bandage remains flexible to conform to wound
  • Can be stored at any temperature, however, must not be left in direct sunlight for long periods of time
  • 3 year shelf life
  • FDA approved
