How Mail-Away Sharps Works
BEFORE USE:
1. Remove container from polybag and save all components. They will be used to assemble for mail-away disposal. Mail Away Step 1 take out container and keep packaging
AFTER USE:
2. Snap cap on opening and place filled container into polybag. Seal polybag with twist tie. Place bagged container into postage-paid return box. Close and seal the box with the provided tape strip. Mail Away Step 2 After use, close container and package to ship
3. Enter your return address in the proper area at the top of the white box. Remove the manifest tracking form from the zip bag on the outside of the box and fill it out. Keep the gold Generator Copy, and place the form back in the zip bag on the box. Mail Away Step 3 write your return address on white box
4. Give the package to your postal carrier, or go online and request a free postal carrier pickup at www.usps.com, or take to any U.S. Post Office. Mail Away Step 4 Schedule pickup from U.S. Post Office
5. The box of medical waste is delivered to the treatment facility where it is autoclaved and recycled into pellets used in manufacturing. Mail Away Step 5 Medical waste is treat and recycled at the facility
