Incorporated in 1992 by healthcare and safety supplies industry veteran Joan Knipe, Unimed-Midwest is a woman-owned small business which sells medical, dental and safety products to resellers and government agencies.
UMI's product line includes a vast variety of products covering medical (non-prescription, non-controlled substances only), laboratory, chiropractic, dental and infection control markets, as well as safety, law enforcement, EMS/EMT and veterinary industries.
Unimed-Midwest isn't just a "distributor"; it's "a fulfillment house on steroids" (as described by a reseller client). UMI strives to continually provide value to its clients. For example, UMI offers purchasing terms not available from large manufacturers.
